I don't get it

So I was reading some blog site on Bostonnow.com. While the ladies first gripe makes complete sense she lost me on the last one.

"The second issue is escalator use. The T should really put up those signs they have in airports - Stand Right, Walk Left. There's no reason to stand side-by-side if you have decided to plant yourself on one step of the escalator. You obviously are not in a hurry to get to the top, so waiting the extra 20 seconds for the person behind you to arrive at the top shouldn't cause any problems."

Um what are the stairs for then? Seriously I have read alot of blogs where people complain about this. Almost everywhere on the T there are stairs right near the escalator. If you are going to walk up the escalator why not just take the stairs. 1. It's easier to walk up and or down stairs then doing so on the escalator. 2. With the theory of standing to the right just causes a huge line build up on the platform as most people don't walk up the excalator.

If anyone can some how make me understand the logistics of walking up an escalator vs the stairs I would appreciate it.

I've come to Realize

....that every new rock band sounds like death metal, bad punk, or a combo or Linkn' Park and Blink 182. Whatever happened to the days of good music. I miss the days when I could easily find a concert to go to once a week. Now I am lucky to find one once a year. Errr

Long time no Blog once again. blah.

Anyways welcome 2008. Let's see if I can make it this summer without falling and injuring a leg. Speaking of summer, I miss it tons. The weather has been really nice for the past fews but we will return to winter soon.

Dino is still crazy. Mike and I managed to get rid of the mites for about a month. He's shedding again and all of a sudden they're back. I read somewhere that since I am using the spray stuff to get rid of the mites that it might only get rid of the live ones and not get rid of the eggs. Even though we gave Dino a bath and cleaned his tank like hell and bought some new stuff for him. Who knows. We have to wait now til his shed cycle is over before we can disturb him. At least he's been eating again though.

I've been in kinda a rut lately with deciding what to do next. I looked at taking more classes this semester but after looking over the programs that are available I changed me mind. I either need to save money and go to a different school with a program I am actually interested in or take the money and run to California. Which this mean I need to find a second job just to save anything. Problem with that is working days in Boston and taking public transit doesn't leave me wide open to alot of opportunities. Weekends are probably my best bet.

Time Time and That Holiday Crime

So I know I haven't been blogging so much lately. Things have just made some different twists and turns in my life and I just haven't had the time to blog about it. My latest news is that I bought my self a christmas present. I bought a new Fender Blem FSR Deluxe Stratocaster guitar. It came in yesterday so I haven't gotten to take a pictures of it. I'll post some soon.

Google Maps Street Views

So Google Maps finally added street views to the Boston area. It's pretty neat. I am not in any of the photos granted I haven't checked them all out. It would be pretty funny to find a friend in one though. Boston.com ran the story today about it and gives some more details. Check it out it's pretty cool. Now if only they would add Boston to there Google Transit so we wouldn't have to use the MBTA's trip planner anymore that sends us to Africa in order to get to Cambridge from South Station.
